Oral Surgery
This is a gentle and minimally invasive tooth extraction technique that helps preserve the surrounding bone and gum tissue. It is typically used to remove damaged or decayed teeth that cannot be restored with other dental procedures.
Wisdom teeth, or third molars, often cause problems when they emerge or do not have enough space to grow. Our oral surgeons use specialized techniques to safely and comfortably remove these teeth and prevent any potential complications.
These procedures are performed to treat infections and cysts that develop at the end of a tooth root. An apicoectomy involves the removal of the infected tissue, while cyst removal involves removing the entire cyst and any affected surrounding tissue to prevent further complications.
This diagnostic tool allows dentists to detect oral health problems such as tooth decay and gum disease that may not be visible during a regular examination. X-rays are usually taken annually or biannually.
